We are told the roof should be on sometime in April and the project completed in June. That would be awesome.......We will be happy whenever it is done, June of course would suit us just fine.

Must See......

I just watched the movie "Inside Job" recently. This movie needs to be watched by every American and should be shown in school.

This is a documentary, real, fact, not a fantasy made up by some screenwriter.

If this does not entice a reaction nothing will........Go back to sleep, this is just a dream.

More building pics........

Well just about all the columns are done and the steel is going up. It will not be long before they start the great room on the second floor. We are starting to look at tile and fixtures.

We are going to have a hot water heater like we were used to in the US. We had them install a loop in the hot water lines so it can circulate (with a pump of course), so yes you can have real instant hot water. We are also installing a filter after the water meter but before the house just to get any debris and grit.

We also will have screens for our windows. Do not believe the stories about no bugs as they are here.

Walled In

The walls are just about done on the first floor. They are getting ready to install the beams for the second floor now.

Etapa (Cuenca's water utility) installed the new water main in the street the other day.

We should have our own water in a few days. Wow. We are still awed by the flow of things and continue to be amazed.
